A loan of $750 helped to buy supplies.

María Isabelina's story

Maria is 54 years old, married, and has five children who she got ahead with effort and dedication.

She works as a kitchen helper in a restaurant and also works on her own in a tailor shop in her home. She makes all types of linen for the home, such as curtains, sheets, pillows, table cloths, and other decorative articles that she offers to her family and friends. This way she complements her income to help her husband with the household finances.

She will use the money from this loan to buy supplies in quantity (fabrics, threads, laces, and springs). This will allow her to have a variety of fabrics of different colors and textures to satisfy her customer needs and increase her income.

Maria says that her greatest desire is to have a well accredited and structured sewing workshop that will allow her to create jobs and guarantee financial stability so she can become completely independent. This way she can continue working toward her family’s wellbeing while she generates income to provide her a better quality of life.
