A loan of $1,500 helped to buy agricultural supplies to assist her coffee crops.

Karla Patricia's story

Karla, 21, is a fighter, entrepreneur and very dedicated to her job, her household chores and her family. She is married and has no children. With her husband, they work very hard each day to get ahead by cultivating coffee, which has been the vocation of her family for many years. Together with her husband, they work in their own agricultural fields thanks to an inheritance that her parents gave them so that they could defend themselves. Karla did not have the opportunity to study at the secondary level because at a very young age she had to work and the income from her parents’ business were not that greatest as they only had only one year of primary education. For this, she is very thankful.

Her dream is to continue cultivating and make her lands and crops grow so that she can generate a higher income to have better living conditions and work hard to live better. Karla needs to maintain her coffee crops and she will achieve through this financial help. With the loan she will be able to make the necessary investments in the purchase of fertilizers and manure to cover her needs and protect her crops so that she can have a great bean harvest.
