Dulce Amanecer Maranniyoc Group's story

The group members belong to the "Dulce Amanecer Maranniyoc" communal bank. This group is located in Vilcabamba District, which belongs to La Convención Province in Cusco Department.

One of the group members is Sra. Luz Mery, who is 21 years old and lives with her partner. She works raising and selling animals, and also has a plot of land where she cultivates bananas and other fruits. She raises guinea pigs and hens, which she fattens up and then sells at different markets. Through this small business she hopes to get ahead in life. Her dream is to have a store where she can sell the guinea pigs and hens. She is requesting this loan to buy guinea pigs and hens, as well as food for the guinea pigs and hens.

The other group members work in agricultural sales, fruit sales, dry goods stores and food sales.

Luz Mery is grateful to those who are helping to fulfill this dream and is committed to repaying her loan installments within the established time frame.
