Las Azucenas De Chaullay Centro Group's story

The group members belong to Asociación Arariwa's "Las Azucenas de Chaullay Centro" ["The Lilies of the Center of Chaullay"] communal bank, and live in the community of Chaullay, in Maranura district in the province of La Convención, Cusco, Peru.

Cintia is 31 years old and is a hard-working, entrepreneurial woman who is getting her family ahead in life. She lives in the community of Chaullay, and also conducts all of her personal and economic activities there. She works raising small animals and as a farmer, cultivating coffee and cacao. She needs this loan to buy fertilizer and hens.

The other group members work in livestock rearing, farming, food sales, small animal raising, and also offer other professional services. They are grateful to those who are helping to fulfill this dream and are committed to repaying their loan installments within the established time frame.
