A loan of $625 helped to buy farming supplies.

Ngwafu's story

G. is married and has four children with Nche Nji Michael.

G. dropped out of school early because her parents were unable to continue her education. She was then pushed to marry early in order to care for herself. As a child with her parents G. practiced a lot of farm work. Now in her husband's house she continues to use the skills of hard work and farming practices, and is able to support and cater to the needs of her family. Her yield from her activity is always good and she always has a ready market. She provides a lot of corn and beans to the community; people buy from her and go to resell at long distances.

Since joining GHAPE in 2006, G. has been able to take and repay two loans. This will be her third loan, which she will use for farming supplies such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, insecticides and beans.
