A loan of $700 helped to buy tables, bread, meat, vegetables, condiments, beverages, oil, and other supplies.

Irma Elena's story

Irma is a single mother with two daughters, ages 10 and 16. Her daily routine involves working at her fast food business where she offers “pupusas” (stuffed tortillas), chicken sandwiches, tacos, and other dishes. She has been in this line of work for 10 years. Her schedule is from 4:30 P.M. to 9:30 P.M. All of her efforts are directed toward helping her family get ahead.

The loan she is requesting will be invested in the purchase of tables, bread, meat, vegetables, condiments, beverages, oil, and other supplies. This will help her to provide better service to her customers, increase her sales, and generate more income.

Like all responsible mothers, Irma dreams of providing her daughters with a university education, which will help them have more opportunities to succeed.
