Las Espinozas Group's story

María is this group's coordinator. She is 34 years old and has a partner and five children, aged eleven, ten, eight, four and two years old respectively. María works selling vegetables and seasonal fruits. This season she wants to invest in tamarinds, jocotes, mangoes, tomatoes and more. María also sells hot foods (enchiladas, tacos, plantains with cheese, roast chicken, roast meat and more). María's eldest daughter helps with selling the food. The other members of this group are 39-year-old María - who sells firewood - and Petrona, 60 years old, who sells tortillas.
