A loan of $575 helped to buy materals to make wedding turbans for brides and grooms.

Mai's story

Mai, 45, lives in a small house in Ho Chi Minh City with her family, including two children and her husband. Her husband is a driver for hire. Mai earns money through her business producing traditional turbans for brides and grooms. She started this business over 14 years ago. She would like to get a loan to buy a larger stock of material to make turbans and increase her production to meet her customers' needs. She also hopes her business will ensure that her family members, and especially her children, will have a better education and a better future.
