Mbene's Group's story

This group has been created from the inception of the "banc villageois" loan association. It brings together three women from the same neighborhood, united by good social, economic and professional relations.

Mrs. Mbène is the group representative. She is a 60-year-old married woman and the mother of one boy. She is standing to the left of the picture raising her hand. She is active in the retail trade of food products.

The new credit loan of five hundred thousand CFA francs (500,000) will enable her to buy merchandise she will resell in her neighborhood. Profits generated by her business activity will enable her to pay electric bills and buy food for her family.
