A loan of $675 helped to buy more dried fish needed in her business.

Valeriana's story

Valeriana previously accessed a 20,000 PHP loan that she used to purchase more quantities of dried fish to expand her product inventory. Her earnings were a big help for the education of her children and in their personal, household and business expenditures.

She would like to apply for another loan, this time for 30,000 PHP, to pay for dried fish she needs in her business. The more dried fish displayed at her stall, the better. More items to sell will result in better profit. Her profits from business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs and the educational expenses of her children. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Valeriana hopes that her business will continue to flourish and dreams to give her children a good life and education. She meets every week with her *co-fellowship members to share stories of her work. This is where she can also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay microfinance loans.
