A loan of $1,200 helped to buy more crates of soda, beer, wines and spirits for her customers.

Loy's story

M. Loy is a member of the Abateesa women's group. For three years, she has owned a depot in Kabowa where she sells soda, beer, and other soft drinks. This is her second time to ask for a loan from Pearl Microfinance. Before her first loan, she usually found difficulties in stocking enough for her ever-increasing customer demands, but since then she has had no problems and it has greatly improved her business. She manages her depot alone, though her husband is very supportive. They have two kids and also care for four orphans. She needs a loan to be able to buy more crates of soda, beer, wines and spirits for her customers and to ensure a stable business that will sustain itself through the end of the year.
