A loan of $1,425 helped to buy and sell milk.

Miguel's story

Miguel, 39, lives with his two children in Nahuala, Solola. His children are 16 and 14 years of age. This year they finish their general education and will start next year to study at a higher level.

Miguel transports people between towns in his pick-up truck, which offers him a steady income. He is asking for a loan of 11,000 quetzales to invest in buying and selling cow’s milk, which he sells as he drives around the towns. He realized that the more he invests in this business, the more profit he will make. In the future he would like to buy another pick-up truck to be able to make more journeys.
