Teresa's story

Teresa is 55 years old. She lives in the district of Cayaltí, a community where the people make a living from agriculture, trade, and ranching. It is located in the province of Chiclayo, which belongs to the Lambayeque region on the north coast of Peru.

Teresa makes a living by selling accessories and clothing for ladies, men, and children. She has been doing this for more than six years and she works every day, selling her products from home. She is an enterprising mother. She has requested a loan of 1,700 PEN in order to buy a variety of seasonal clothing to offer to her clients, thereby generating greater revenue.
