A loan of $2,525 helped a member to buy Guinea pigs, chickens, and feed.

Las Flores Group's story

These are the members of the “LAS FLORES” communal bank, located in San Sebastian, part of the Cusco department and province.

Lucila is 63 years old, married, and has three children. She works in her animal buying and selling business and raises Guinea pigs and chickens and then sells them at the various fairs. She gets her children ahead through this business and her dream is to have a shop where she can sell the Guinea pigs and chickens. She is asking for this loan to buy Guinea pigs, chickens, and feed.

The member whose picture is pasted onto the group picture took her picture later because of work commitments.

The rest of the members sell sandwiches, clothing, have grocery stores, and restaurants.

This member is grateful to those who form part of this dream and promises to make her payments on time.

In this group: Lucila, Paulina, Rosa, Maria Benita, Liseth, Isabel*, Veronica, Yaned, Solanghe Karol
