Azra's story

Azra, age 25, is a married woman. For about 8 years, she has been working in a boutique. She makes beautiful embroidery patterns on cloth and then sews it for the people of her community. Her designs are much in demand and she has managed to consolidate a clientele that allows her to contribute to the expenses of her home. To help her continue her operations, she has requested a loan of 50,000 PKR to buy bundles of cloth and spools of threads in different colors along with packs of beads and sequins. In this way she would be able to cater to more customers consistently. She is hopeful to have an increase in her income by targeting more customers.
