A loan of $250 helped to pay for fabric, cloth, thread, needles and other materials needed in her rug-making business.

Rosa's story

Rosa previously accessed an 10,000 PHP loan that she used to purchase quantities of raw materials like fabric, thread and other materials needed in her business. Her earnings were a big help for the education of her child, in their personal house hold and business expenditures. She would like to apply for another 10,000 PHP loan for her to buy additional supplies of raw materials like fabric, cloth, thread, needles and other materials needed in her rug-making business. Her profits from business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs and child’s education. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart. Rosa dreams to expand her business and hopes to have a happy family. She meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work every week. This is where she finds strength and inspiration from the word of God she studies. * All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay microfinance loans.
