A loan of $1,975 helped to buy a refrigerated display case.

Nelson De Jesús's story

Nelson is a humble, charismatic, and hardworking man, age 41. He is married and is the father of two children, whom he has gotten ahead with great effort and dedication. Two years ago, he began his own business, a grocery store located at the market plaza of the town where he lives. The idea came out of the need to earn money that would allow him to take care of the family expenses, for at that time he was going through a difficult financial situation.

With the goal of better establishing his business, he is asking for the help of a loan to buy a refrigerated display case, which will allow him to have a greater variety of items to offer. In this way he can meet the needs of his customers, improving the earnings that he receives for his work.

Nelson shares that his greatest desire is to expand his business and turn it into a mini-market where his customers could find the items they need and thus improve his profits, giving him the ability to provide a better quality of life and wellbeing to his family.
