Jessica worked at a large computer company in the marketing department. After a couple years there however, she realized that there was a glass ceiling for women in the company and there was a lot of resistance to her progress in the company. These challenges eventually led Jessica to go into business for herself as a real estate agent.
Growing up, Jessica always admired her grandfather who was a real estate investor and thus took a keen interest in the real estate market. A San Diego native, Jessica is bubbly and down to earth and loves working with people. She finds it extremely rewarding to see the satisfaction and joy in the lives of new homebuyers. For Jessica, it’s not just about closing the deal, but helping people find their dream home.
This $10,000 Kiva loan will help Jessica with her marketing expenses and allow her to hire an assistant to help support her growing business. Jessica needs to get her name out there so that she can continue building her solid reputation in the community. She hopes to find her niche working with professional athletes and large corporations and dreams to be the “go-to real estate agent” in San Diego.
Jessica, a married mother of three, hopes that her growing business will allow her to continue providing for her family. She also wants to continue supporting Give Back Homes, a social enterprise that provides a platform for business professionals such as real estate agents to make contributions to building homes for families in need.
