A loan of $400 helped buy second hand household appliances for repair and resale.

Heriberto's story

Heriberto is a married man and the father of two children for whom he has fought long and hard to get them ahead. At 57 years of age, he has 30 years of experience gaining skill as a technician and independent salesperson of household electronics. He learned the job by doing it, and little by little he increased his knowledge. His shop is located in his home. In addition to doing service repairs, he also buys broken household electronics, repairs them, and then sells them at a higher price, thus earning income for his family's expenses.

He will use the money from the loan to buy second-hand household electronics, such as televisions, radios, and irons. This will let him repair them and then later sell them for income, which he will reinvest in his business and use to provide his wife and children with a comfortable living.

Heriberto says that his age does not stop him from dreaming, and that he continues to fight hard to expand his business, his dearest wish. He hopes to leave his children a good legacy, and enjoy his old age peacefully in the company of his beloved wife.
