Reyes's story

Reyes, age 52, lives with his wife and children in the Pucará district. It is a community with a warm climate, and the people there work in agriculture, commerce, and with livestock. It is located in the Jaén Province in the Cajamarca Región in the northern highlands of Peru.

He has devoted himself to agriculture, especially growing pineapples, for 25 years. His wife helps him in this work by preparing food for the day workers who perform maintenance on his crops. He has requested a loan for 1,500 soles to pay for the labor on his pineapple crops.
