Edward is 41 years old and lives in the town of Kamwenge in the Fortportal region of Uganda. He is married and has 3 children with 2 of them currently in school. For the past 4 years, Edward has been working hard to manage his produce business, which sells maize.
To help expand his business, Edward has requested a loan of 2,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy more maize seeds and will help Edward to generate greater profits and increase his stock. Edward hopes that in the future he will be able to have better living standards.
