Virginia's story

This is Virginia, resident of Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines. She is married and she has children. She and her husband manage their household while operating their business. At this time, she is working hard to continually provide income for their everyday expenses.

Virginia operates a meat stall. They buy meat from suppliers that deliver the meat to respective market stalls. Her products are pork, beef, and processed meat products. There are many patrons who prefer her products since they are assured of its freshness and cleanliness. Her regular customers are her neighbors and the local community. She earns a minimum of 1,000 PHP in sales every day.

To help her continue the operations of her business, she is requesting a 30,000 PHP loan. She will be utilizing the loan to buy additional supplies of pork and chicken needed in her business.

Virginia hopes that her business will continue to expand and dreams that her family will always be in good condition. She meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her work every week, where she can also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay Micro Finance loans.
