Noemy's story

Noemy is 53 years old. She is a single mother of three children and lives in the municipality of Choloma, in Cortes. She worked at a factory for several years but since she doesn't have a job currently, she decided to start a business selling fruit. She sells watermelon, melon, plums, bananas, mangos, and other seasonal fruit. Her business is set up in her home.

She has already invested several loans in her business. She is currently requesting another, in the amount of 6,500 lempiras, in order to stock up on seasonal fruit for her business. She will buy watermelons, melons, mangos, sapotes, plums, bananas, oranges, and other fruit. She plans to set up her business outside of her home where there is more customer traffic and also incorporate other merchandise to sell.
