A loan of $2,700 helped to buy more chickens.

Tarana's story

Tarana lives with her husband and two children in the village of Alixanli in the Fuzuli region, but they are IDPs (Internally Displaced Persons) from Füzuli city. Tarana’s son is a student at a technical college and her daughter is in ninth class. When her daughter doesn’t have lessons, she helps her mother with her poultry business. Tarana has poultry - a few hens, cocks, chickens, etc. She earns money by selling eggs and chickens to regular customers and neighbors.

Tarana wants to buy more chickens to increase her business. She has applied to Kiva's partner, Komak, for a loan of 2,100 AZN (Azerbaijan New Manat). Once Tarana increases her business, she will have more clients and a better monthly income. She says thanks to the Kiva organization for this aid.
