Shamim's story

Shamim is a 51-year-old vigorous lady. She has been running a business selling clothes and bags. Shamim purchases clothes and bags in various colors and designs from the market at wholesale rates and then sells them to the people of her community. She has a varied customer base and is able to earn enough through her business. Shamim requested from Kashf Foundation a loan of PKR 45,000 to buy a wide variety of clothing and bags in different colors, designs and sizes to attract more customers and expand her inventory. Shamim expects a boost in her earnings with her loan and she plans to spend part of her profits toward the betterment of her family members. This is her fourth loan and she has a good repayment history.
