A loan of $450 helped to purchase two more goats.

Parveen's story

Parveen is a 48-year-old, married woman. She has been running a business selling animals for many years. She started this business because her husband’s income was not sufficient to meet their household expenses. She buys animals (baby goats & calves) at low prices, brings them up, and sells them near the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha (a religious event in Muslims countries).

At present, Parveen has three goats. She has gradually improved her business with the support of Kashf Foundation.

Currently, Parveen has requested a loan of PKR 45,000 to purchase two more goats. She is in her sixth loan cycle, with good repayment history. She hopes to grow her business and dreams of providing a better standard of living to her family members.
