Munar's story

Munar is 32 years old, married, and has four children with her spouse. Munar has a high school education, and to provide the primary income for her family she raises livestock, which she started 12 years ago with the purchase of 15,000 som (KGS) of animals. Thanks to Munar's tireless work today she owns a milk cow, two calves, six sheep, and a horse. Her monthly income is 12,000 som (KGS). In order to further develop her business Munar came to Bai-Tushum for a loan to buy calves to increase her herd. She plans to invest income from use of the loan into further growing her herd of livestock, and also plans to save money for her children's further education.
