Gayane lives with her husband and two, school-age children in the village of Shaqe in the region of Syuniq. Due to severe climate in the region, people in this area are mostly involved in animal husbandry and land cultivation. Gayane is as well. Her husband is an army officer and is rarely at home. So, Gayane has to take care of the children and household alone. She keeps cows, sheep, and chickens and cultivates wheat, emmer wheat (farro), potato, and grass as forage for the livestock. In the small orchard that Gayane owns, she also grows nut, apple, and pear trees.
Now, this hardworking woman asks for financial support to improve her cultivation process. The loan of 1,500 USD will enable her to purchase wheat and emmer wheat (farro) seeds, fuel, and fertilizer, which will help her to improve her cultivation process. She will wait for support from lenders.
