Nursuluu's story

Nursuluu is 52 years old, married, and together with her husband, is raising one child. Nursuluu has a secondary education. She is a pensioner. As the main source of income for her family, Nursuluu, along with her husband Asanbek, practices livestock breeding and crop farming. She started this business 14 years ago, with an initial purchase of cattle in the amount of 17,000 som (KGS). The farm is flourishing and abundant to this day. Thanks to Nursuluu's hard work, she currently has 1 milk cow, 1 bull and 20 sheep on her farm, as well as a 2.40 hectare plot of irrigated land on which she grows beans every year. Nursuluu's husband earns extra money seasonally as a private builder on construction sites. Their monthly income is 12,000 som (KGS). For the purpose of further developing her business, Nursuluu turned to Microfinance Bank "Bai Tushum." She is requesting a loan to buy bull calves to increase the size of her herd. Nursuluu plans to invest the earnings from the loan in the further acquisition of livestock. She also intends to save money to make minor repairs on her cattle barn.
