A loan of $400 helped a member to purchase a variety of products (cookies, soap, honey, etc.).

Delphine's Group's story

This group is composed of three persons who reside in the same district. The group's representative, Delphine (with her hand raised in the photo), is 34 years old and did not have much schooling. This is the first time she has requested financial support from ALIDé. She is married to a retailer named Léandre. The couple have three children, in school and in their care. She lives together with her husband and children. Delphine and her husband jointly ensure that the diverse family expenses are covered. To do so, she has been hawking products (cookies, soap, honey, and dried yams) for twelve years. She gets her supplies from a market in Benin. With the goal of bolstering her business and satisfying customer demands, Delphine, along with the other members of her group, is requesting financial support from ALIDé for the first time.
