Zaven is from Lusaghbyur Village. He lives together with his parents and two brothers. Zaven helps his family with agriculture. They run a farm, which includes raising cows, chickens and calves as well as cultivating some potatoes for family use only.

Zaven and his elder brother are army officers, but when they are at home they help their parents with farming. By applying for this loan, Zaven and his family are asking for financial support to be able to enlarge their farm. The loan will help them to purchase barley, potato seeds and grass as forage for their livestock. The family will be very grateful to Kiva lenders for their support.

As this is Zaven's first loan, it has been approved within the framework of the new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF. The first-chance loan program provides loans to people who didn’t have access to credit products in the past because they had no credit history.
