Zainab's story

Zainab is a 53-year-old married woman and the mother of four. She is a hardworking mother who is helping her family by providing services of tailoring in her community. She has been doing this for many years.

She very well knows the techniques of stitching. She purchases cloth material in different colors, and after doing embroidery with beads and sequins, she sells it to the people of her community. Her regular customers are her neighbors and the local community. She earns enough to lead a decent life.

To help her continue operations of her business, she requested a loan of PKR 40,000 to buy spools of thread, along with packs of sequins, beads and zippers in different colors, to meet the increasing demand.

In addition to repaying the loan, she will use part of the revenues to deal with personal expenses.
