A loan of $1,550 helped to buy cows.

Dilbara's story

Dilbara is 49 years old, married and raising four children with her husband. Dilbara has received secondary education. As a main source of income for her family, Dilbara raises livestock, having started 20 years ago by buying livestock for 8,000 KGS. Thanks to Dilbara’s hard work, her farm now includes two dairy cows, one calf, and 10 sheep. Her monthly income is 13,000 KGS. In order to develop her farm further, Dilbara has applied to the Bai Tushum microfinance institution for a loan to increase livestock by buying cows. Dilbara plans to invest the resulting revenue in a further increase of livestock.
