A loan of $975 helped to buy steers.

Kunduz's story

Kunduz is 41 and married with five children. She has a high school education and works in animal husbandry as the primary source of income for her family, a business she began 20 years ago with the purchase of livestock for 5,000 KGS. Thanks to her hard work, she now has two milking cows, one heifer and two steers, with a monthly income of 12,000 KGS. With the goal of further developing her business, Kunduz has turned to bank Bai Tushum for a loan to purchase steers to increase her head count. She plans to use profits from the loan to further augment the size of her herd, and to save toward her children's education.
