Adou's story

ADOU was born in December 1962 in MENA, Cercle de KOLONDIEBA, a prefecture in the 3rd administrative region of the Republic of Mali. He is 52 years old and resides in FAKOLA, in the KOKO district, in a traditional family with his two wives and six children. Early on, he became interested in revenue-generating businesses, especially the buying and selling of cattle. He makes his sales in FAKOLA. With a solid thirty years of experience in this domain, he is collaborating with the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso to increase his business capital in order to satisfy his customer base, which is ever-growing. He is on his third loan. His customer base is essentially composed of men. Mr. ADOU intends to use his loan to purchase 4 head of cattle. His supply comes from FAKOLA and from NIENA. His sales are made in cash. Mr. ADOU hopes to make a monthly profit of 100,000 francs CFA that will be used to meet family needs, pay back the loan, and reinvest in his business.
