Fanáticas Group's story

The town center Los Andes is located in the city of El Alto, where exists the association "Fanáticas," which has worked together with the group Pro-Mujer for approximately one year, showing gratitude and loyalty to the group. Various activities exist within the association. For example, some are dedicated to the construction and sales of shoes, and some are dedicated to the weaving of vicuna (a llama-like animal of the central Andes that yields a soft wool) blankets, which they sell in the city markets. To increase their production, they need to buy more raw materials, such as cow leather and vicuna wool for weaving blankets. Their dream is to form a large business that will generate greater incomes for their families and provide work opportunities to others.
