A loan of $1,025 helped to buy fertilizer and clean his coffee fields.

Leonidas Rosa's story

Leónidas is 59 years old and lives with his wife and two children in a small village that is part of Nueva Frontera, Santa Barbara. Previously, he worked with livestock, and now it has been 20 years since he started working in agriculture, growing corn, beans, and coffee. The crops that he harvests are sold from his house and in a local market. He has decided to ask for a loan for 20,000 HNL to buy fertilizer and clean his coffee plantation, in order to keep it well-maintained and collect a greater harvest. He has the goal of purchasing land to grow more coffee plants.
