A loan of $1,050 helped to buy an embroidery machine..

Mamadou Zoumana's story

Mamadou Zoumana was born in 1987 in Bougouni. He is the father of 2 children and lives in a traditional family in the Heremakono neighborhood north of the city of Bougouni (third Administrative Region of the Republic of Mali).

He has been making clothing for more than 8 years. His experience in the domain has earned him a good reputation and helped him get orders. So to obtain the necessary resources to satisfy his customers, he is working with the Soro Yiriwaso microfinance institution.

This is his 3rd loan, after having repaid the 2 previous loans on time. This loan will enable him to buy an embroidery machine in Bamako. He will use this machine in his sewing shop in the Torakabougou neighborhood of Bougouni.

With this loan, he hopes to earn an average monthly income of 115,000 CFA Francs. That income will allow him to pay the interest on his loan and to invest the rest in his business.
