A loan of $1,350 helped to pay for merchandise products like clothing, footwear, undergarments, and cosmetics to increase her product inventory.

Jolly's story

Jolly previously accessed a 30,000 PHP loan that she used to purchase merchandise items and products needed in her business. Her earnings were a big help for her children’s education and in their personal, household and business expenditures. She also sells doormats and she has a reloading station for additional income.

She would like to apply for another 60,000 PHP loan to buy merchandise products like clothing, footwear, undergarments, and cosmetics to increase her product inventory. The more items she has on display and available on hand, the better. More items to sell will result in better profit. Her profits from business will definitely help her to sustain her children’s education and daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Jolly hopes that her business will last a long time and she dreams to have a better living. Every week, she meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her life and business and to draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God that she studies.

*All Center for Community Transformation (CCT) community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. These fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay microfinance loans.
