A loan of $375 helped purchase fertilizers to grow corn.

Castinaldo's story

Castinaldo is 42 years old. He lives with his wife and their children in the village of La Mina, a rural area in Querocotillo, which is a hilly community that has developed through its agriculture. In addition to agriculture, the region's population also works in raising cattle and commerce. La Mina is located in the Cutervo province, which is in the Cajamarca region in Peru's northern sierra.

Castinaldo and his family, work in agriculture, particularly, growing yellow corn, which he has been doing for the past 10 years. He also works raising dairy cattle to offer milk in his home, to his neighbors, and to other customers.

Castinaldo is seeking a loan of 1,000 nuevos soles from Edpyme Alternativa to purchase fertilizers to grow corn. This will allow him to offer his customers a good crop at a better price.
