A loan of $725 helped to pay a pending debt.

Vilma Gloria's story

Vilma is 47 years old. She has 8 children and is a single mother who is very enterprising. She could only study until the fifth grade and has made an effort, on her own, to help her family get ahead. Two of her children are adults and already have their own households. Her remaining six children are dependent on her.

Vilma has been a merchant for 15 years. She leaves every day in the afternoons to sell tamales and bread in adjacent neighborhoods. This job is a bit tiring but the desire to help her family get ahead motivates her. She learned this business from her mother, who was also a merchant.

She is requesting this loan from CrediCampo in order to cover a debt that she incurred a year ago when she faced a serious family problem and needed to request a loan. Consequently she now has to repay it and at the moment does not have the exact amount. Thus she needs help and will also invest a part of this loan in her business so that she can continue working and supporting her family.

Vilma dreams of having a stable business that will enable her to earn enough to provide her children with an education and cover household expenses. She also wants to have a small farm in order to earn a supplementary income.
