Saima's story

Saima is a 35-year-old married woman, living in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. She is the mother of five children; her husband is a welder and provides welding services in his community. Saima owns a small business of selling ladies' ready-made garments at home. She purchases cloths from market for a low price, sews them and sells them for a high price in her community. The ladies of town like her garments collection and selection a lot. The demand for clothes has increased because the winter weather is going on and people are demanding warm clothes. Her husband affords all the expenses from his earnings and she contributes her earnings only for savings. She requested a loan so that she can buy more variety of garments to fulfill the demand. Saima wishes for the bright future of her children and her dream to provide better education to her children. She is very thankful to Kiva and field partner, BRAC Pakistan.
