A loan of $975 helped a member to buy a two-stroke auto rickshaw.

Tanveer Shehzadi's Group's story

Tanveer Shehzadi’s husband has been driving a four-stroke auto rickshaw. Its engine is less powerful than the two-stroke rickshaws. He belongs to an ultra poor family and has been feeding his children. Now his children are growing old and their needs increasing as well.

Tanveer Shehzadi has been saving for many days to buy a two-stroke auto rickshaw for her husband but at the time of purchase, she was short of money. Therefore, Tanveer Shehzadi has requested a loan for her husband so that he can buy a new two-stroke auto rickshaw with the help of her savings. Tanveer Shehzadi is a 40-year-old woman living with her four children and spouse in the area of Lahore, Pakistan.

Tanveer Shehzadi hopes that now her husband will be able to generate more income because he can easily pick up and drop off the passengers at their destination on time. She is very happy after taking this loan and thanks Kiva and field partner, BRAC Pakistan.
