Diarry's story

Diarry K. is a 49-year-old widow with five children under her care. She has been a member of the village bank of Kounkané Vivane Wade for three years. She wants to purchase and resell dyed fabrics. Her other job consists of selling peanut butter which she makes with peanuts that she buys at the market. Her income allows her to support her family. Ms. K. is requesting a loan which will be repaid in one lump sum in six months’ time.
