A loan of $1,800 helped to buy three head of cattle and 240 kg of press cake to start a cattle business.

Jumagul's story

Jumagul is a young, 22 year old woman from a village near the city of Vahdat. She has not yet married and still lives with her parents. Jumagul does not have a higher education, but she is a professional seamstress. She works from home sewing traditional women's dresses. Jumagul has a large family--six people in all. She sees how difficult it is for her parents to take care of the family. And so, like the enterprising and energetic young woman she is, Jumagul wants to start a business that she can run in addition to sewing. The business will be fattening and selling cattle.

The family has a cattle barn and Jumagul has $400, which she saved up from her sewing earnings. Jumagul needs another $1,800 (USD). She is requesting a loan for this amount. Jumagul plans to use her savings and the loan to buy three head of cattle and 240 kg of press cake for feed. This loan is very important to her. She is waiting hopefully for your support.
