A loan helped buy thread and traditional clothing.

Miguel's story

Miguel is a single, 32-year-old man. He lives with his two young children and his partner, with whom he has a common-law marriage. They currently live in the Sololá department.

Miguel describes himself as a hardworking man. He works buying and selling traditional clothing. He sells it in the markets in his town and also in the capital city. He has been involved in this type of business for 9 years and it has helped him progress his family in terms of earning income.

He has become aware of the fact that his goods are becoming more profitable and for this reason is asking for an $800 loan to buy thread and traditional clothing. In this way, he will be able to offer his customers a larger variety of styles and colors.

He has many goals, the most important of which is building a house so as to improve the living conditions of his family.
