A loan of $1,175 helped to purchase more chicken and general stock for resale.

Fatmata's story

40-year-old Fatmatu is from OIC Ropolo in the Makeni Southern area of Sierra Leone. She is married with 7 children. Some years ago, Fatmata established her retail business. She began her business because she wants to create a permanent source of income instead of depending on her husband. She works at the business 10 hours per day, 6 days per week. She says that her main challenge is that the road is too narrow for her customers to pass by.

Fatmata requires a loan in order to purchase more chicken and general stock for resale. She hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to buy a plot of land and grow her business. In the future, Fatmata plans to expand her business more than ever. She thanks you for your support.
