Aminata's story

Aminata is 37 years old and married with four children; she runs a clothing material business in Magburaka, Northern area in Sierra Leone.

She has been in this business since 2003 and sells different type of wax cotton material within a busy market area. Her business is the only source of income she has. She says that the main challenges to her business are insufficient capital and sometimes she has to go in to different villages to sell.

Aminata requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchases more wax cotton material for resale. She says that the extra income from this loan will help her educate her children and increase her business. In the future, she would like to expand her business more than ever.
