Ms. Sáu has a retail business selling dry food and general things. She is 64 years old and she is single with five children. Sáu is the group leader of the 08-01-05-Phú Sơn2 solidarity group, which consists of six members. She lives and works in Thanh Hoa city, a urban area in Thanh Hoa province, with no dependents, as her children are grown up.

In 2011, Sáu joined Thanh Hoa Fund for Poor Women to improve her business. Sáu has successfully repaid four loans from Thanh Hoa Fund for Poor Women.

She has been involved in her business for more than ten years. The main hardship that Sáu faces in her business is a lack of capital. She is requesting a loan to purchase dry food and general things to resell. With her business profits, Sáu hopes for her family to be healthy and happy, for her business to do well, and to build a new house.
