Rosario Isabel's story

The members of the credit group, Las Vegas, meet in Crucita Parish in the Canton of Portoviejo. This locality, called by the name “Crucita la Bella”, is known for its beautiful beaches which are much visited by domestic and foreign tourists. Señora Rosario, who is 57 years old, lives here. She is a single mother with two children; one is grown, and the other is a minor, 13 years old, who attends high school and still lives with her.

Doña Rosario is a very courageous woman who has always liked working in order to provide a better future for her children. She has a bar, and a restaurant with a discotheque; she works in the bar every day, and she works in the restaurant and discotheque only on the weekends, as that is when many people come to the resort to enjoy its beautiful beaches, and she has the most customers.

With the beach season approaching, more and more people are coming to the area, looking for a place to spend a glorious vacation; and this is why she needs a loan—to purchase what she needs in order to provide the best service. This will allow her to have very good earnings for the well-being of her children and herself.

This loan is for the purchase of supplies, soda pop, and other beverages that she sells. She has been in the credit group since the beginning, and she likes it for the help that the loans provide. Her dreams are to give the best to her children.
